My challenge for you in 2019?  Get in God’s Word!

My Prayer:

As I have been thinking about Creative Faith and how to encourage and inspire you all in 2019, God kept putting something on my heart.  He wants us to read His Word, the Bible.  That is how God speaks to us!  Did you know that?  He wants to speak to us through the words we find in the Bible.

5 minutes is better than no minutes.

This is my motto for working out, but it’s also something important to remember in our relationship with the Lord.  It’s way better to spend five minutes reading the Bible or praying than to not do it at all.  I challenge each one of you to this in 2019!

Inductive Bible Study Method:

I first learned about the Inductive Bible study method when I was in the Dominican Republic.  My roommate and I started using it during our Bible classes we were teaching with our students.  I currently use this method in our youth Sunday School classes at the church where I work.

The point is to reread the text multiple times and answer a series of questions.  I think some people believe reading and studying the Bible can be super intimidating, but this method makes it extremely simple and approachable to use both in individual study time between just you and the Lord, as well as in a group Bible study setting.
