En español: Produce en Mí, Semana #6

I have been most excited for this week in the study.  Produce in Me was inspired by some pineapple duct tape my mom got me last summer.  I love pineapples, and they represent kindness, hospitality, and help us to remember to be sweet.

The page I created in my Biblia de Apuntes this week is probably one of my favorite pages I have ever created.  I love using washi tape, and I have seen many people covering their whole Bible pages in washi tape lately.  As I was praying over week six for the Spanish video, God put the idea on my heart to use washi tape to make a pineapple.  It was so much fun to go through my washi tape and create with it.

God is so very kind and compassionate with us, which I illustrated in Isaiah 63.

“Recordaré el gran amor del Señory sus hechos dignos de alabanza, por todo lo que hizo por nosotros, por su compasión y gran amor.  ¡Sí, por la multitud de cosas buenas  que ha hecho por los descendientes de Israel!”  Isaias 63:7

We need to share that kindness with others because God is so very kind to us.  I focused on the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, reflecting on what it really means to stop and show kindness to those people God puts in my path.

In my traveler’s notebook this week I kept with the washi tape theme and used it as a border.  I am in love with the cute little bee, but I need a name for him!  Any ideas for me?  Write a name suggestion in the comments below.

The Produce in Me class is taking a two week break because I am taking a group of high schoolers on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  Please be praying for us when we are there.  Week 7 of the class will continue on Friday, July 28th!
