Dot Grid Review and Comparison

What I love:

  • Thick paper!
  • Comes with a pen loop!
  • Pocket in the back doesn’t go all the way to the binding which means it is easier for me to get things in and out of it
  • Numbered pages
  • Has THREE gray bookmarks – love the color and how many bookmarks they give
  • White color of the paper
  • That it is slightly smaller (5 inches wide) – makes it easier to carry around when it isn’t so big
  • THE FEEL OF THE COVERS – so smooth!
  • So many different colors of covers to choose from

What I don’t love:

  • Not very many pages
  • The colors of the stickers – too bright for me, but awesome they include the fun freebie of stickers!
  • I think it might make it harder to use the tiny dots

Clever Fox Weekly Planner Review

What I love:

  • Goal setting at the beginning – love the simplicity of how they broke down the goals by topics like heath, work, family, etc.
  • Monthly pages at the front – makes it easy to keep the monthly calendars together. If you skip a week in the undated weekly pages it is not a waste, you can just use it the following week.
  • Dot grid pages at the back – perfect combination of set up planner pages and a spot in the back with dot grid pages for bullet journaling. It has 60 dot grid pages. I would use these for tracking my bills, writing out books to read, songs to download, trackers, etc.
  • Weekly pages have habit tracker for each week
  • Undated – can start anytime you want
  • Comes in a super nice, sturdy box for storing the planner or supplies
  • Love how many color options you have for the cover
  • INSTRUCTION SHEET – walks through how to go about setting goals and
  • The feel of the cover – soft and smooth! Feels the same as the dot grid journal.
  • Pen loop! Why don’t all journals have this? Makes it so easy to carry around a pen to journal inside
  • Same AMAZINGLY thick paper – perfect for adding watercolor, stamps, stickers, markers, etc. I love decorating the pages in my planner, so the thick pages are perfect for that.

What I don’t love:

  • Not enough room for to do lists on the weekly pages
  • Ribbon color – but plan to cut out the ribbons 🙂
  • The sticker color again – Bright rainbow colors aren’t really my aesthetic
