7 Things to Do When You’re in a Stressful Season

Are you currently facing a stressful season? Or have you struggled in the past? It is pretty much a guarantee that sometime in the future you will face more stress. What can you do to help yourself during those seasons? Here are 7 tips!

1 – Pray! Ask God for strength and peace to help you get through the stressful season.

2 – Get outside as much as possible! Morning sunlight, grounding, after work eating dinner outside.

3 – Magnesium! Oil spray, lotion, Epsom salt baths or foot baths, dark chocolate, supplement. Magnesium is responsible for over 600 body functions. When you are stressed, magnesium is used up faster, and when you don’t have enough magnesium, you are more stressed.

4 – Eat nourishing foods and food prep. Batch make breakfast at the beginning of the week. Make a larger dinner that could be used for lunch or dinner the next day, too.

5 – Drink nourishing drinks. Adrenal cocktails! Adaptogens in my hot chocolate. Sun tea. Matcha. Electrolytes!

6 – Get as much sleep as possible. Go to bed early. Take naps.

7 – Prioritize: Didn’t spend as much time on social media or cleaning the house. Have grace for yourself. Focus on the above things as well as getting in God’s Word. 

I pray these ideas help you through a stressful season. Remember this verse:

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
