Something extremely exciting happened this last month. \u00a0Creative Scrapbooker<\/a> magazine featured Creative Faith!<\/p>\n

The author of the article was looking for ideas on interesting ways to use washi tape. \u00a0I wrote a blog article about 5 favorite ways to use washi tape, which you can read here<\/a>. \u00a0I forwarded her the article, as well as various pictures of Bible journaling pages I have used washi tape on.<\/p>\n

She loved this page I created in Nehemiah, which also features a FREEBIE I created for Creative Faith. \u00a0You can download and print these Scrabble letters here<\/a>. \u00a0These versatile Scrabble letters make the perfect addition to Bible journaling and more. \u00a0I use them on Bible pages, in my prayer journal, on cards, and in my traveler’s notebooks. \u00a0You can print them large or small. \u00a0You could also print them on sticker paper, or vellum paper to give a completely different look.<\/p>\n

Once the author, Allison, selected the page she liked, we emailed back and forth a few times. \u00a0I did not have to send my Bible in to the magazine to be photographed. \u00a0She sent me a list of criteria for what the picture should look like. \u00a0There should be a white background, space around the edge, etc. so they could edit and crop the image as needed.<\/p>\n

Then, I waited until the magazine came out! \u00a0Creative Scrapbooker was nice enough to send me a free copy of the magazine. \u00a0I freaked out with excitement when it landed on the doorstep. \u00a0God is so good. \u00a0He knows what encouragement we need. \u00a0It amazes me that Creative Faith appears on the pages of a secular magazine.<\/p>\n

The Bible page contains a verse that God has been reminding me about lately: joy.<\/p>\n

“…for the joy of the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0is your strength!” \u00a0Nehemiah 8:10<\/em><\/p>\n

This perfect reminder arrived at the perfect time, as God often works.<\/p>\n
