Prepare Him Room Workshop

Thank you to everyone who attended the Prepare Him Room workshop on Saturday, November 18th at Community of Hope Church.  It was a fun morning learning how to make traveler’s notebooks and dive into the meaning behind the song, “Joy to the World.”

Attendees each received a fun packet full of goodies to use including stickers, card stock, sheet music, washi tape, paper clip fabric tab, the Prepare Him Room Creative Faith Cutable and more!

I started off the class telling a bit behind my story and how I got started prayer and Bible journaling.  (Click here to read more!)  Then, we walked through the Prepare Him Room Bible study, reading scriptures and discussing with table groups.  I walked through how to create a traveler’s notebook.  We had plenty of time for cutting, pasting, and creating.

It’s amazing to see how you can hand each lady the same packet of materials, and everyone will create something totally different.  One attendee cut up the sheet music and created a Christmas tree using the music notes.  Others used the sheet music as a background for the pages.  People used washi tape in different ways too, including borders, making a star, and spelling out the word, “Love.”
