We have come to a bittersweet place…the end of the summer series over Galatians 5:22-23.  Eleven weeks of diving deeper into the Bible, studying God’s Word, getting creative in new ways, and learning and growing in the Lord.

This week we are learning how to put everything together in a yummy fruit salad.  We are reading about having deep, strong roots in God.  We are reflecting over the past 11 weeks and celebrating all God has taught us!

So far this week I have just spent some time in my traveler’s notebook and not in my Bible (yet!).  It was an amazing time reflecting on all God has taught me over the past 11 weeks.  This week’s spread is colorful and reminds me of each fruit and topic that we studied.

I love using the short little phrases as inspiration in my traveler’s notebook or Bible journal.  This week I glued a few onto a pineapple tab door.  On the backside of the door, I wrote down different things I have learned through this experience.  It is so important to reflect and summarize and see all that God has done.

I went hiking with my family over the weekend, and I was struck by all the tall, strong trees.  Many of their roots were peeking up along the trail, and it made me think of this class.

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”  Jeremiah 17:8

What have you learned from the study?  What was your favorite week?  What were your favorite images?  (I still love those watermelon flip flops!)  I would love to know in the comments below!

Thanks again for joining us for this FREE class.  Did you enjoy the class?  Check out the Creative Faith Etsy store here and give us some love.  I am working on translating some of our kits, so they will be available in Spanish muy pronto.  🙂
