]]>I created a page of women wearing crowns and shirts that say “royalty” on the front. These printable girls can be used in your Bible journaling, Scripture writing, or planners.
There is also a page full of “I am” statements that can be used with the girl printables reminding us of who God’s Word says we are: royalty, loved, and redeemed! I also included a purple princess image that I drew. The black silhouette version can be found in my Queen Esther: Chosen printable HERE.
I would love to see what you create using this freebie! Please tag me on Instagram @creativefaithco when sharing projects. I love sharing your creations in my Instagram stories!

]]>You really only need a pen and notebook. But I love using other craft supplies to decorate the pages. It makes the process more fun for me. It helps me slow down and spend more time with God. It also helps me remember the prayer requests more because I connect what I wrote with images.
Back in May 2016, the very first Creative Faith kit I ever created was the prayer journal! Now you can get them on Amazon! Click HERE for pastel roses. Click HERE for blue watercolor. Click HERE for neutral doodles. Click HERE for watercolor floral. I also have a beautiful peonies dot grid journal available on Amazon that is also perfect for writing out your prayers. Click HERE to pick it up!
2. Pens
I love a good black pen. Here are some of my favorites. Click HERE to check out Muji gel pens. Click HERE to grab the cutest crown black pen on Amazon. Click HERE to get a pack of Micron pens! When I was living in the Dominican Republic and just started prayer journaling, I had no idea where to get supplies. I used a plain set of colored ballpoint ink pens for many months. Fancy supplies are nice, but definitely not necessary.
3) Printables
I especially love printing on clear sticker paper. Cut them out and adhere them down. Printables are a great way to decorate your pages. I have a set of printable prayer phrases that are perfect for using in your prayer journals. Click HERE to print them. I also love my Seasons of Prayer printables. Check them all out in this blog post HERE.
My friend Allie Scraps also has some fun prayer request printable cards to use for journaling. I love her Love Well set that you can get HERE. I also love her ABCs of Christmas prayer request card colors that are perfect to use year round. Pick those up HERE. You can also use code CREATIVEFAITH30 for 30% off all printables in Allie’s shop!
4. Sticky notes
I just launched some adorable prayer journaling sticky notes in my Etsy shop. Pick them up HERE. You can also use normal sticky notes. I love THIS set from Amazon. Allie Scraps also has prayer request sticky notes. Pick up the teal set HERE, purple set HERE, and pink set HERE.
5. Stamps and ink
I LOVE Sweet ‘N Sassy Stamps. I have a whole blog article HERE with my favorites. There are three that I wanted to mention for prayer journaling. The Typewriter Alpha set (click HERE to get it!) is perfect for writing dates, and key words or phrases in your prayer journal. I also love Just Say Jesus set that has some great prayer phrases (click HERE to get it!). The set All in All also has great phrases you can use in prayer journaling including “I surrender…” Click HERE to pick that one up!
6. Watercolors
I have been loving handmade watercolors. Two of my favorite shops are Dots and Dust by Angeline and Designs by Rachel Beth. These two awesome ladies have created the prettiest watercolors. I love putting a watercolor background down on my pages before I pray. There are two sets from Amazon I wanted to mention. One is a great basics set from Prima Marketing, called Classics. Click HERE to get that one! I also LOVE all things sparkly and shiny. Click HERE to pick up my favorite metallic watercolors.
7. Washi tape
I LOVE using washi tape to add borders to my prayer journaling pages. Check out Little Craft Place HERE for fun washi tape. Also check out a fun set of washi from Amazon HERE. Yay for free Prime shipping sending us fun craft supplies.
8. Stickers
Stickers are SO easy to use. I use them a lot in my prayer journaling now, as my sticker collection has been growing. They are easy to use because they don’t require any glue. Just stick them down and decorate
I would love to hear from you in the comments below! What are your favorite prayer journaling supplies and resources?

]]>The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word
of our God endures forever. Isaiah 40:8
One theme God has been teaching me about lately is my identity in Him. Satan is the father of lies. But God and His Word tells us the truth about who we are. The devotion I wrote stems from a challenge that I bet I’m not alone in – getting dressed each day and feeling beautiful as the person God made me. I pray the devotion brings you encouragement and speaks to your heart.
Josie created the most beautiful images to go along with the devotion, including a woman with a flower crown to remind us of our true identity: a child of God! She also hand lettered some of the main Bible verses from the devotion. You can print them on clear sticker paper (get my favorite from Amazon HERE) and add them to your Bible or journal.
Click below to download the freebie:
I made some tabs, word strips, and journaling cards for you to use as you document what God is teaching you about how His Word endures forever.
I created a YouTube video to show you all what comes in the free devotion, and how I am using it! I have been using the Happy Planner half sheets to work through my printable kits in my Etsy shop (click HERE to check them out), and my free printables and devotions (click HERE to see all freebies on the Creative Faith blog).
Click HERE to watch the YouTube process video working through Endures Forever!
Be sure to follow Josie over on Instagram HERE, and let us know in the comments, what’s your favorite piece of the freebie? Your favorite image? We can’t wait to hear how this free devotion changes your life and draws you closer to the Lord.

Joy, me, and Rosa when I visited September 2016
Back in 2014 I hopped on an airplane after graduating college and headed to the Dominican Republic. Through circumstances only God could orchestrate, I signed up to home school three middle school boys. Two families came together to hire me to teach their children. One of the families is a Dominican family, while the other family is a missionary family in the Dominican Republic.
The missionary family started an organization called New Hope, with the goal of creating a refuge and restoring the lives of girls in the Dominican Republic. As I was living there, I got many opportunities to go to New Hope and visit.
I would bring games and crafts to do with the girls. One day our home school group got to go paint the building that would become the new home for the girls. I’ve had the opportunity to even teach Bible journaling classes to the girls.
Their stories broke my hearts. Several of my friends worked at New Hope and we would spend hours praying over the girls and the caretakers. My heart broke for their home lives; oftentimes their own families putting them in unsafe situations in order to earn money. I saw light and love in the middle of darkness through serving with New Hope.
As I began to pray about Giving Tuesday and what God wanted me to do to use Creative Faith to serve Him more, He very clearly put New Hope on my heart. I am excited to introduce you all to New Hope and the girls and their stories.
I will be interviewing Joy Reyes, my old boss, and the founder of New Hope on Tuesday, November 27th at 5:00 pm PST, 8:00 pm EST on Instagram live. We are going to be talking about how New Hope got started, hear some amazing stories of God’s faithfulness and where He has brought them now.
I will have a fun giveaway during the Instagram live, as well as a giveaway happening over on my Instagram feed HERE.
Find New Hope on their website HERE.
Find New Hope on Facebook HERE.
Find New Hope on Instagram HERE.
Shop New Hope bags and products HERE. (My personal favorites are the clutches, which you can find HERE, and the pencil pouches which you can find HERE.)
As I was praying over this collaboration, I thought a fun FREEBIE was in order to celebrate all God is doing in and through New Hope. I wanted to give you all a space to journal prayers for New Hope, and I included a verse card with their key scripture: 1 Peter 2:9
For you are a chosen people.
You are royal priests, a holy
nation, God’s very own possession.
As a result, you can show others
the goodness of God, for He called
you out of the darkness into
His wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9
Download the freebie HERE.
I cannot wait to see what God is going to do as I share more about New Hope with you all. I urge you to think about how you can support either New Hope or another ministry on Giving Tuesday. Please write a prayer in the comments below for Joy and her family and all they are doing in and through New Hope.

I had been reading through the book of 1 Samuel last year around October, around Halloween time. I got to the story about Saul throwing spears and knives at everyone because of jealousy, and I thought about how he was a monster. Jealousy and envy made Saul into a monster. I thought monsters would be appropriate for the month of October.
As I began to design and pray about this kit, I realized that it needed to be a collaboration. Often, and especially with an online business, it can be so easy to compare and get jealous of other people’s success. More likes, more follows, more subscribes, etc. And since this kit is about envy, I knew I needed to slap Satan in the face and tell him to get away by making it a special collaboration.
Kelly and I have spent quite a bit of time chatting over Instagram messages. She helped organize a super sale I was a part of during the summer, and she is just the sweetest/funniest friend. She started a YouTube channel recently that I love to watch (click HERE to find her channel!). I asked her if she would like to be a part of this printable kit and collaborate, and she said yes!
In the kit available on my Etsy store, there’s a special two-page traveler’s notebook devotion. It also comes with some creative questions to get you started thinking deeper about the content. I also have a page of monsters to use. Half the page has monsters that are already put together, but the other side has a make your own monster element. Think about like Mr. Potato Head, but with monster eyes and mouths instead.
Kelly’s kit has this wonderful large phrase that says, “envy is not cute.” She also has a fun sticky note with one of my monsters on it! She made some stitch marks and washi strips, too.
Watch how Kelly used the Monstrous Envy kits HERE on her YouTube channel.
I will also have a YouTube video up on Saturday showing the process behind a page in my Bible that I created.
(above page features a stamp set from Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps that you can get HERE)
Kelly has a lot of wonderful ladies using our two kits on her design team, including my new friend Aaron who created this wonderful YouTube video HERE showing three different ways to use the two kits! Definitely go check out her YouTube channel.
You can find Kelly on all the social media spots! Thanks to her for working together on this fun collaboration.

]]>I noticed how many companies are doing camping themed Bible journaling resources. There’s Revival Camp at Illustrated Faith/Dayspring. The Reset Girl has Camp Reset, and Apileofashes created Bible Camp. Even I created a special digital kit called Consuming Fire that has camping themed elements. All of those resources cost money, though. I thought about how fun it would be to join in on these awesome communities and studies this summer and fall, but I did not want to spend money. Plus, I looked through my stash of Bible journaling supplies and saw all the camping themed things I already had to use.
My aunt had recently given me some cute and tiny plain notebooks, and I thought it would be fun to use it to write out camping related Scriptures. In the freebie you’ll find a list of many camping symbols like stars, bears, tents, hiking boots, etc., and Bible verses you can use to write out that coordinate with the symbol/object.
Click below to download the devotional written by Deeds, typed list of 20+ camping objects and matching Scripture, as well as a few images created by me to use in your Bible journaling.

]]>Have I shared how much I love Instagram with you all lately? It is my favorite way to connect with ladies all over the world. Diana from @midiariocreativoconjesus messaged me and asked if I would like to do a collaboration with her. Diana has the prettiest hand lettering EVER, and she has the sweetest heart for Jesus. With Father’s Day coming up, we created a devotion and images all about our Heavenly Father.
This printable is free and available in both English and Spanish. Diana and I each thought of two characteristics of God as a Father. Diana picked loving and protector. I focused on how God disciplines us and provides for us. These are characteristics of a good earthly dad, but are perfectly shown to us in our Heavenly Father.
I am lucky enough to have the world’s greatest dad ever. He’s not perfect, but he loves our family so much and works so hard. But I also know there are many people in the world who don’t have dads or their dad is not a good person or even present in their lives. However; we have a Heavenly Father who loves us SO much more than anyone else ever can.

]]>“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:12-14
As I got into the devotional, I lingered on the thought of putting on love as a piece of clothing. At first, it sounded a bit superficial to me. Why would we just want to “put on” love? Don’t we really want to reflect love, not just put it on to wear out during the day? But, then I started thinking of my very favorite articles of clothing. Why were they my favorites and why did I reach for them over and over in a closet packed full of variety? Because those pieces of clothing were a true reflection of me! So, “putting on” love like you put on your favorite t-shirt is really embracing the very best version of yourself…the person God always designed you to be.
This passage in Colossians is a beautiful illustration of preparing yourself to go out into the world to live your best authentic Christian life. And I think that is a goal that every one of us has at the start of each day. But, what happens? Well, the messy life of this fallen world happens. I love the idea of embracing love. Embracing love in all aspects of my life seems like such a beautifully simple idea, that at the same time is so deeply complicated. What does love look like? What does it look like in my marriage? What does it look like as a mother? What does it look like when I am pacing through a grocery store with two screaming toddlers, just trying to grab enough groceries so that I don’t have to bring my own personal circus out into public for the next couple of days?
Here’s the truth, we can have every intention of clothing ourselves with love, but often times the way we respond to difficult situations gives us away. As I continue on my faith journey, I find myself focusing on what it means to actively live my faith. And one of the things I am focusing on is acting in love…responding in love, even in the difficult times. Being faithful is about so much more than just showing up to church every Sunday, volunteering when asked, or checking the boxes of Christian life. It is actively living a life of love, even when it is hard, messy, and feels impossible. Because, while we all have regrets, I know that I will never regret acting in LOVE.

I am a Christian, wife, and mother of a beautiful little girl and identical twin boys. Originally from Texas, we have moved because of my husband’s job, but you can never quite take the Texas out of the girl! I’ve been bible journaling for just over two years, and it has sparked such incredible growth in my spiritual life that I just can not imagine my life without it. Our lives are filled with many activities, but my very favorite times are cuddling with my kids, crafting in my creative space, and watching sports with my husband.

Minerva and I met while attending the same church in Santiago. Check out the sweet photo of us below! Back in 2016, we had worked on planning a sleepover for the youth girls that included the Instagram photo frame.
I knew I wanted to create a freebie focused on Valentine’s Day somehow, so I prayed and prayed. Many ideas floated around in my head. Would I create one based on romantic love? God’s love for us? Love between friends? Love for serving? For several days, I couldn’t decide. I have been thinking a lot lately about the purpose of Creative Faith (read more in my About Me page here!). God’s Word is the most important thing, and I really wanted to encourage you ladies with…
4 easy ways to fall in love with God’s Word!
Saturday, February 3rd, I hosted another Bible journaling workshop at Community of Hope Church. We used this devotion to talk about Psalm 119. I also explained 5 ways to make hearts in your Bible. It was such a sweet time of fellowship. I have a few extra kits from the workshop that are full of goodies. Click here to grab one of the kits! They are going fast. To find out about more workshops, click here.

Creative Faith Freebie – Fall in Love with God’s Word
Creative Faith Freebie – Enamorate de la Palabra de Dios
It is our prayer these resources bring you closer to the Lord. I pray these four ideas encourage you to read the Bible more, grab friends to study with, create a welcoming environment and space to read, and never forget the Bible is God’s giant love letter to you. Pray to God, asking Him to put a desire to read the Bible in your heart.
Follow Minerva Valerio in Instagram here! (Also, send her a message if you want her to paint for you! She paints houses, cute bunnies, agendas for companies, probably family portraits, and more!)
You can also check out a YouTube video here using this freebie!
We have two other Valentine’s themed freebies. Here’s a hymn card from ‘Tis So Sweet. Here are some hearts that you can glue in your Bible margins.
